Well hello there....
Messy house. Loads of laundry. Soccer practice. Library trips. Movies in Mommy & Daddy's bed. Early mornings. Home-cooked meals. Bath time. Mid-day tickle sessions. Lacrosse games. Karate lessons. Homework. Dirty dishes. Saturday chores. Cuddling on rainy days. Piggyback rides. Surprise trips. Long walks. Hiking in the Park. Playing. Living. Laughing. Loving. This is our life and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Welcome to our photo-journal.

Celebrate!
Last weekend was a big weekend for the OO Clan -- we celebrated Grandmom's birthday, our anniversary, Father's Day and Uncle Dan's Homecoming. The festivities took place at Dave's parents complete with delicious food, fun in the sprinkler and fireworks! Check out this amazing cake that Grandmom had made for the special event.

School's out for SUMMER!
Hanging out in the yard with the kids! The picture above tells it all...Keegan and Joey just wanting to "hurry up" and play in the sprinkler, Rowan trying to grab Riley and Riley trying to get away from Rowan). I'm looking forward to summer with this motley crew!

Tis the season...
Lacrosse season, that is.
Has it really been five months since I've posted? I can't believe it's already June and indeed, the last day of the boys' school year. Hello summer! So what have we been up to? Well, simply put...LACROSSE. It has invaded and consumed my family. Not only am I coaching, Dave is too. The boys are playing on a clinic travel team (that's who Dave is coaching) and Rowan did a few instructional clinics as well. Riley tagged along for fun often finding herself on the sideline emptying ball bags or using my blackberry as a teether. All seasons have concluded (well, except for me, I actually have my first game in over a decade...TONIGHT!) and hopefully life will return to normal sometime soon. Here are some pics I snapped of the boys!

One day my kids will think this is cool....
So one of my New Year's Resolutions is to participate in one charity event a month for the entire year. While my main events will still be the JDRF Walk for the Cure and Relay for Life (American Cancer Society), I want to show support for other very meaningful causes. To kick of the year, my friend Jen Sccichitano and I will be participating in the Polar Bear Plunge. Yes, I know it will be freezing. Yes, I know that it will be colder in the water. And Yes, I know that I will freeze my tookus off. However, I also know that this is an amazing cause as the Special Olympics provides amazing resources for a very special part of our population. So please, help support me! My donor page is www.plungemd.kintera.org/kconrubia!
